The only full-service shelter in a 50-mile radius of Huntington, WV. Daily, the Huntington City Mission provides shelter for an average of 143 individuals, including an average of 40 children between the ages of birth to 18.

Every day in our community, children go to bed hungry, families struggle to stay together, and elderly people face life alone and unsupported.
Food insecurity and homelessness rob people of dignity and hope. Imagine a child without a safe place to call home or a senior citizen forced to choose between food and shelter. It’s a reality we can’t ignore.
